Product Design

Product design is responsible for many of the high tech gadgets on the market today. In concentrates on developing ideas and turning them into palpable solutions through products that contain a high level of efficiency while being effective for what they were created for in the first place.

The process of product design always begins with an idea that usually needs a healthy dose of imagination and originality, and also an observant eye for other things not yet available. The idea can derive from a necessity in many cases and the result comes to provide a solution.

The design phase can be broken down into many stages as well: developing a concept, researching, deciding on materials. Technical skills come together with artistic vision and form a final product, or a prototype that will be continuously tested until full satisfaction is achieved, when production comes into place.

Products design refers to more than technology; it encompasses tools, furniture, toys and basically any object.
